Finca C'an Murtera

The Finca C'an Murtera stands for relaxing holidays in nature away from mass tourism.

C'an Murtera is a 500 year old mill farmstead which has been renovated with great attention to detail in Mallorcan style; it will enchant you with its charm.

In addition to handmade tiles, modern technology and comfortable equipment were tastefully installed and integrated into the original character of the estate. The mill farmstead has four bedrooms, one children's room and three bathrooms. Due to the very good traditional construction, fans are sufficient for cooling.

The dining room of the mill farmstead is integrated into the Mallorcan kitchen: Cooking and communication in one room. A small, cosy living room with in mallorquin style joins next to the kitchen. From the kitchen you also have direct access to the BBQ terrace, where you will find a large table with benches next to the outdoor grill, gas stove and fireplace. Outside you will find an adjoining room with a further fridge for the terrace/outdoor area as well as cool boxes for your trip to the beach.

A large garden also offers many opportunities to relax. Covered terraces offers plenty of occasions to dine outdoors or end the evening with a cozy BBQ. The swimming pool can be reached via a small path through the garden in a short distance from the building, so that you will find peace and relaxation here.

The Finca C'an Murtera consists – apart of the above-mentioned mill farmstead - of a second building: the adjoining house. All rooms of the bright and modern annex house are on the first floor, which can be reached via an outside staircase. In addition to the comfort of central heating, double glazed windows, the annex house has two further bedrooms and bathrooms, a living room with TV and an open dining area for up to six persons. From every room of the house you have a wonderful view of the fields and the surrounding panorama. A private roof terrace with outdoor furniture offers additional opportunities to relax or just enjoy a glass of wine in the evening before going to sleep.

In C'an Murtera you can enjoy your holidays with your family and friends. The two buildings for a maximum of 12 people and 3 children are ideal if you want to have plenty of privacy, your own four walls and privacy, but do not want to miss a holiday together.

The owners' house is located at the other end of the palm garden, away from the main road and protected from view, and has a separate driveway. Here you will always find a contact person who will be happy to answer your questions in German, English and French.  

The Finca C'an Murtera is a spacious property with over 80 palm trees that invites you to relax and meditate and offers you the peace you are looking for. A special finca for a particularly beautiful holiday near the natural beach of Es Trenc. A finca for every season!

Hot tip: Finca C'an Murtera can be rented from the beginning of November until the end of March as part of a partial rental (up to 4 persons | up to 8 persons) or long-term rental.

THE LOCATION

The Finca C'an Murtera is located in the south of Mallorca in a protected natural area in the Migjorn region.

Due to the rural but nevertheless good location you can reach the villages Ses Covetes (approx. 3 km) and Campos (approx. 8 km) in only a few minutes by car. Here you can find supermarkets, restaurants and bars Please visit also one of the many weekly markets with the excellent regional products in the area. Campos itself is a place with remarkable historical buildings such as the church of Sant Julia. Small winding streets make up the charm of this place where you will find everything you need.

Only about 3 km away you can enjoy your holidays at the beach Es Trenc. Es Trenc is one of the most beautiful natural beaches Mallorca has to offer and is protected in a national park. The approximately 2 km long, bright sandy beach with its dunes and the shallow, turquoise water offers optimal conditions for a relaxing beach day. In the marked areas, friends of nudism will also get their money's worth.

Or visit the sandy beach Platja ses Covetes with its turquoise water. There is a small beach bar with a kiosk as well as a sun lounger and parasol rental.

Do you like to play golf or horseback riding? Both are possible here! You can reach the golf courses Son Antem and Cala d'Or in about 20 - 25 minutes by car. Horse riding, children's pony riding and riding lessons can be offered in the immediate vicinity of the property. In the period from October to April it is even permitted to ride on the kilometre-long sandy beach. 

C'an Murtera is a perfect finca for holidays with family and/or friends to spend relaxing (beach) days in the natural surroundings of Mallorca.
